Tired and bruised, the UA defense is inspired Tuscaloosa News - Christopher Walsh
TUSCALOOSA | There were still more than eight minutes remaining in Saturday’s game, but University of Alabama coach Nick Saban had seen enough. As his defensiveplayers walked off the field after allowing the go-ahead touchdown by Arkansas, he stopped them short of the sideline and verbally let them have it. “He was doing some screaming, and some cussing,” senior cornerback Simeon Castille said. “The gist of it was for everyone to do their jobs.” But that wasn’t the catalyst for Alabama’s crucial defensive stand that gave the offense a chance to win the 41-38 game. It came a few minutes later when Saban went back to ask the defense, “Can you do it?”
